Passover is Coming!
April 1-9

JCC of Idaho encourages the community to attend home-style Seders with your friends and community members.

Chabad Jewish Center in Boise is hosting a community Seder. Visit their website to learn more.
jewishidaho.com

There are many different types of Seder Books (Haggadah) available online for your use. Here is an example of one created by Greg and myself for our family. Feel free to use it as a guide for your Seder!

Got Pickleball?

At JCC of Idaho, we are always looking for fresh, fun ways to bring people together. One idea we’re exploring is a community Pickleball Event.

We’d love to reserve beautiful indoor courts just for our group and offer:
• Beginner and intermediate instruction
• Open play
• Lunch and social time
• A great opportunity to connect with others in the community

Whether you’re an experienced player or brand new to the game, we’d love to know if this is something you’d enjoy.

Upcoming JCC of Idaho Events

As we continue to grow, your input is guiding the types of events we prioritize. Here are some of the ideas you’ve shared so far:

  • Monthly Series: Roots and Routes -- Get to know our community. Exciting and meaningful stories of our community Israelis and others!

  • Monthly gatherings and workshops centered on our three pillars: Jewish Culture, Israel, and Jewish Holidays, focused on Jewish life and traditions

  • Learn to read Hebrew!

  • Mitzvah projects such as supporting food pantries, visiting the sick, offering Jewish/Israeli folk dancing at senior/rehab centers, delivering meals, delivering flowers, and assisting with home projects

  • Idaho to Israel trip planning

  • Collaborative programs with our community friends and  partners

We'd love to hear from you! Please let us know which of these ideas resonate with you -- or share your own suggestions here.
